IGF Coalition Work Supports SDGs

At the IGF in Kyoto Selby Abraham, chair of the IS3C (Internet Standards, Security and Safety Coalition) SDG working group, presented on how IS3C's work contributes to the SDGs. The group found that: "By advancing wider deployment of Internet standards that establish greater online security, safety, and data privacy, IS3C supports the establishment of a digital environment that empowers individuals and communities, fosters innovation, and accelerates progress towards a more sustainable and equitable future. Much of the coalition’s work is accordingly directly relevant to achieving several SDGs, as explained in this paper."
