    This workshop serves as a platform to commemorate and evaluate the achievements of the past two decades since the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and envision the future trajectory of the information society. It will bring together governments, businesses, academics, and other stakeholders to discuss key issues such as policy formulation, technological advancements, data security, and privacy protection in the context of digital development. Through interactive discussions and case studies, the workshop aims to foster cooperation and collaboration among participants, promote policy innovation, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the information society. The outcome of the workshop will be a set of recommendations and insights that can inform future policies and practices in the field of digital governance, thus enhancing the well-being and inclusivity of the global digital ecosystem.

    Expected Outcomes

    Hybrid Format: To enhance interaction between online and offline audiences with speakers, we can utilize live Q&A sessions, polls, and chat functions for online participants, while encouraging offline audience members to ask questions and participate in discussions. The meeting should be designed with clear agendas and timings, optimized for both online streaming and in-person viewing. Breakout rooms and interactive activities can increase engagement.
