Format description: In this configuration, the roundtable layout and the 30-minute duration are perfectly suited to our activity for several reasons. The roundtable setup fosters open and interactive discussion among participants, creating an environment conducive to active participation and the exchange of ideas. This layout ensures that all participants are seen and heard, enhancing inclusivity and connection among attendees. Additionally, the 30-minute duration is ideal for maintaining participants' attention while providing enough time to delve into the topics at hand. This ensures effective use of the available time during the event, while also allowing for some flexibility to accommodate the needs and preferences of participants. By combining these two elements, we are confident that our activity will be engaging, interactive, and enriching for all participants.

"Building Peace through Digital Innovation" explores how digital technologies can serve as powerful tools for fostering peace, development, and sustainability on a global scale. This session will delve into innovative approaches and best practices that leverage digital innovation to address complex challenges and promote positive social change.
Participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of how digital innovation can drive peace, development, and sustainability, while identifying key challenges and best practices in leveraging technology for social good. Networking opportunities will foster connections with experts and practitioners from diverse backgrounds, facilitating knowledge exchange and collaboration. Attendees will leave equipped with actionable insights and practical tools to apply in their respective fields, enhancing their capacity for positive impact. Additionally, this session may contribute to the development of publications or reports synthesizing key insights and recommendations, ensuring broader dissemination of the knowledge generated during the discussion.
Hybrid Format: In facilitating interaction between onsite and online speakers and attendees, our approach will focus on dedicated moderation and technology integration. A dedicated moderator will ensure equitable participation, directing questions to both onsite and online speakers and facilitating discussions. Leveraging Zoom or similar platforms provided by the IGF Secretariat, we will connect online participants seamlessly with the onsite session, enabling real-time communication and interaction. Interactive tools such as polling software, chat functions, and virtual whiteboards will be utilized to encourage active engagement from both groups. Our session design prioritizes inclusivity, with content supplemented by visual aids and multimedia elements for enhanced comprehension by remote attendees. Complementary online platforms like Mentimeter and Slido will be considered to further enhance participation and interaction.
