The ever-evolving geopolitical environment and strategic threat landscape have a direct impact on our digital transformation. Such opportunities and challenges will be at the core of our discussion, focusing on capacity-building as a tool for international development. More precisely, our speakers will discuss how can capacity-building be used to support a sustainable and digital transformation for all.
The EU is committed to a needs-based, human-centric, multi-stakeholder approach to digitalization. We have increasingly s brought in civil society, the private sector and academia.to offer a well-rounded and comprehensive cooperation to our partner countries. Such approach is essential to ensure a top-up approach to capacity-building and align our programming and strategic priorities with the needs of our partners.
From leveraging the benefits of AI to strengthening cybersecurity resilience to protect critical infrastructure, capacity building is a crucial enabler to mitigate risks and bring out positive outcomes.
Hence, the speakers will showcase existing capacity building activities from their respective organizations whilst also discussing how to best ensure the efficiency of future capacity-building actions.
