Description:
In recent years, generative artificial intelligence (AI) represented by ChatGPT has attracted widespread attention, and it has played a positive role in promoting economic development, social progress, public welfare and scientific research, but at the same time, it has also brought challenges, including the inherent risks of the technology triggering safety hazards, the deepening changes in human-machine relationships exacerbate the anomie of scientific ethics, and technological leaps triggering upheaval to human society. For this reason, the World Internet Conference convened representatives from international organizations, enterprises, research institutes and other parties at the Wuzhen Summit 2023, and jointly released the Developing Responsible Generative Artificial Intelligence Research Report and Consensus. The document puts forward consensus opinions such as clarifying the attribution system, constructing a tracing mechanism, and exploring innovative and friendly governance tool systems such as governance sandboxes.
In order to promote the effective implementation of the consensus document and the development and application of generative AI governance tools, the workshop intends to invite multi-stakeholder guests from the standardization departments of international organizations, government departments, research institutes, enterprises, etc., to discuss the construction of AI accountability systems, traceability mechanisms, sandboxes and other tool systems, to contribute useful experiences, and to work together to promote the research, development, and application of responsible AI to better benefit mankind.
Explore the development and application of generative AI governance tools to further promote Developing Responsible Generative Artificial Intelligence Research Report and Consensus into action, and provide beneficial references for developing Tools for Responsible Application of Gen-AI to the globe.
